I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Neudesic (Hyderābād)
Interview
The interview was very weird.
The tech stack was .Netcore, Angular and SQL.
First she asks me to rate myself for all the three Technologies. She asks me to rate myself on .NetCore and C# separately. Bells started ringing there.
-First question.
What is CLR? This is literally the first question, first link which pops up when you google .Net interview questions. Then and there I knew the kind of interview it was going to be. If the answer isnt a word for word match. Its wrong.
-What is managed code, unmanaged code?
This is not how you conduct interviews.
I get asking
- DSA Questions
- Theoretical questions based on scenarios we face while coding.
- Theoretical questions which are relevant.
But what is this approach where you look up questions from internet and expect the candidate answers to match 100%.
She did ask some good questions but for some reasons my answers didn’t satisfy her at all. No discussion on questions, just hmm, hmm, okay.
Did not give me one program to code, did not ask me what have I accomplished in the projects, didn’t ask me to write SQL query.
The lady had over 15 years of experience. I felt I knew way more than her. God bless the company.
