One screening call with the internal recruiter, one video interview with a fellow Principal Consultant, and one video interview with the Director of the team. Was asked to reschedule each time with the video interviews, even though I picked from the times they provided. Interviews went pretty well, very conversational and not heavily technical. More of an overview of experience, projects worked on, what I was looking for, etc. Honestly thought I was going to get an offer or be moved to the next stage if there was one. Recruiter didn't even have the decency to call me, but instead texted me saying "great feedback overall, but there's folks that are further along in the process they want to go with right now." I asked if there was anything negative, like my experience/skills not matching or something like that. Nope, just that other people were further along. So after two weeks of back and forth, rescheduling and obliging when I'd already set the time aside for them, and then actually doing the interviews well...I was still passed up because they had clearly already offered other people and were using me as fluff. Came off as really just a power trip in the end, to see how many hoops I would jump through for the job. What a total waste of time.
