Utmost unbelievable and flabbergasted. The recruiter ghosted & wont even have the courtesy to provide any response. They perhaps don’t know what they want, and keep searching for the most perfect candidate. Maybe IBM should start getting involved and fix this frustrating experience. It’s a nearly almost waste of time.

Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. Initial conversation with the recruiter was pleasant and sparked my interest to learn more. She was enthusiastic and seemed to genuinely believe in their uniquely collaborative culture. Second interview was supposed to be with a peer in the same role I was interviewing for, but due to schedules and a sense of urgency on their part, I interviewed with a regional (VP?) which was very conversational and informative from both sides. Recruiter called me shortly after the same day to ask me how it went. Recruiter called again a couple days later wanting to know if I’d be in the area to do an in person. (I live out of state.). I didn’t have any plans to be in the area, and it seemed odd they’d suggest I travel to them, but not offer to schedule something. Despite this yellow flag, I continued on. Recruiter called again and said VP’s were so excited about me after hearing about me from the interviewer, wanted to “fast track” the next level interviews and she’d be checking on schedules to set them up. GHOSTED. I never applied for the job and wasn’t sold yet on if this would have been a good move. Bizarre hot /cold behavior. However, I like to give the benefit of the doubt, so I followed up via email with the recruiter to check in. No response.
