      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New America (Washington, DC)

      Interview

I was living abroad, and New America was very accommodating in organizing video interviews in place of in-person interviews, which was wonderful. I had a total of three interviews, starting with an initial screening "phone" interview with a couple of people, then a more advanced interview where I was asked to complete a brief communications assignment for them with a deadline. The final interview was with the "big boss" so he could meet me, and that was only about 10 minutes. I received the offer that evening.
