A recruiter from LinkedIn contacted me for a first interview for an Account Executive position. It was a terrible experience with Jarvis James. From the very beginning, he told me he'd seen my CV and that it wasn't what they were looking for. So why were we even having a call? What was the point of being on the first interview?
He asked why I hadn't included details about KPIs and the pipeline in my CV, which I found very strange, since those are details typically discussed in an interview.
He insisted that I hadn't worked with end clients, even though my CV states that I've worked with both end clients and IT consulting firms. He just kept insisting that my profile didn't fit the requirements.
The whole thing seemed very odd to me. If you think my CV isn't what you're looking for, why did you call me? What a waste of time.
