I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Sydney) in Apr 2017
Interview
Interview process depends on the department and role you apply for.
In my particular case, the process took around 6 weeks before I received a job offer but this was mainly due to some confusion around responsibilities behind the scenes.
The actual process consisted of:
- Initial phone screen
- Video call with VP/Manager(s) in the US
- Further video call with other Managers in the US
If you get through the above, you'll be invited onsite and provided an "assignment" to complete.
- Onsite where you will be meeting with senior management, potential colleagues, direct manager
- Culminates in a presentation of the assignment
All in all, I actually found the process quite enjoyable - in particular, the Sydney office is looking very strongly for culture fit as we have a really great vibe.
Interview questions [4]
Question 1
How do you deal with a situation where your client requests a particular solution, but your internal team doesn't want to move that way?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic in Aug 2021
Interview
The overall process was good could have been better with the communication at the end. I was contacted by a recruiter. I had 4 interviews the 4th was a presentation with very vague instructions. My overall estimation is that the manager wanted a TAM with a very technical acumen like a programmer ( such as do you write scripts or commands). Honestly, they could have been better at the end I went through 4 interviews and got a generic email at the end saying I did not get it.

Question 1
What is the sales process? How would you motivate the team? What is your technical experience? Do you use Jira?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at New Relic in Feb 2021
Interview
I had 3 rounds of interviews, the first two with the recruiter and the hiring manager and then another assignment with other managers.
The whole process was very informative so there were no questions that left unanswered, and every person I had interviewed with was nice, which is a very calming aspect when going through such a process.

Question 1
Understand the selling point for each persona; how would I manage clients; touch-points with clients
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Portland, OR) in Jan 2020
Interview
This was an in-depth series of interviews that included a project and meetings with individual contributors up to the VP level. Everyone that I interacted with took their interview responsibilities seriously which I saw as a good sign.
