I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (Portland, OR) in Nov 2015
Interview
1) Apply online. 2) Complete Heroku Challenge - simulate conversation with a customer experiencing an issue. Not too difficult, but it helps to research the product and existing support documentation. 3) Phone interview - about an hour long conversation. Standard interview questions. Very friendly! 4) tech screen call - assess your troubleshooting processes. Not terribly difficult. 5) Onsite interview - 3 hours of interviews with various members of the support team. Everyone is incredibly friendly! They ask more standard interview questions and are trying to get a sense of whether you'll fit in with the culture. Afterwards, they treat you to lunch from one of the amazing food carts.

Started with screening call. Then interviews with hiring managers. Fair, asked good questions. Good people. I thought they were thorough but not overly aggressive. All well done by their team overall.
