      Easy interview

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at New Relic

      Interview

Several interviews undertaken with various stakeholder and 1 hr long. All interviewers provided positive feedback. Then ghosted by the recruitment team with no follow up and had to chase repeatedly to understand what happened. Very poor communication.

      Human Resources Business Partner Interview

      Jun 12, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at New Relic (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018

      Interview

I first had a level set phone interview to ensure the role and potential compensation aligned with the opening. Upon being invited in, I was provided a detailed schedule and links for preparation. That was helpful because I knew who and the role of the interviewers. Further, each interview did not ask the same questions which showed some preparation ahead of time. I came to the HQ for 3 rounds of interviews. First, with the hiring manager and a senior counterpart. Second, with the core HR team and one business leader. Third, with the Group VP's that I would partner with. My overall experience was great. I could truly imagine myself collaborating with the interviewers. During the interviews, a coordinator was there to guide me to each interview and to escort me to the lobby or to ensure I had a refreshment etc. Very professional.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

All questions related to business and HR strategy and NOT HR transactions. This reflected a true understanding of the role.
