This company engages in the practice of requiring a recorded presentation offering ideas on how to solve their problems. I spent 20 hours preparing the presentation, recorded and submitted it with zero communication back from the hiring manager in over a month. It is clear that they are using this method to steal ideas from hopeful candidates who spend valuable time submitting work for which they are not paid, and then further insulting the candidates by ignoring them once they’ve receive the work.
It’s a tough market out there, and people are willing to do whatever it takes to put food on the table. It is time to end this lazy, inappropriate practice. It’s not our job to solve your problems; it’s yours.
