I was solicited by an in-house recruiter. I was lied to three times. I was told there was a base pay. This is not true. They provide you a higher payout percentage if you reach their goals. You are not even put in their system until you reach 5 policy sales. I was told they were only going to higher one more person. I was asked twice for referrals for people looking for a job. I was told they only hired qualified people and then I was shown a list of people from backgrounds ranging from waitress to construction worker. You are asked how many people you know so you can solicit them directly. You are not told upfront that if you don't meet your goals within 5 months, you are let go. This is after you spend your own time, money and mileage chasing every person you can to beg them to buy a policy. If you are going to hire someone and then milk them for leads, the least you can do is let them stick around for a year so they don't have to tell their friends and family that they no longer work there because you fired them.
