I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at New York Life (Roanoke, VA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Way too long- a lot of time spent asking about friends and family which would be the first ones they want you to go to for sales. It was a very long interview and there was little talk about actual compensation plan and how it would work...IF you didn't meet the required sales amounts.
There was a lot of hype about how much you COULD earn, but it did not pan out.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.
