I had a typical recruiter screen where the recruiter indicated that I was a great fit for the role and would get back to me by the end of the week about next steps, indicating that I would likely move forward to the technical interview. That timeline seemed strange and longer than usual. I followed up the following week as I hadn't heard back. The recruiter never responded and ultimately ghosted me.
