I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Newmont (Denver, CO) in Feb 2011
Interview
Most interesting part was that they had me put together a slide presentation about myself, explaining why I'd be good at the job. I thought that was clever way to do it.
Very long process. Lasted the whole day and met with over 10 people. Good questions but I was very hungry by the end of the interview. Had a couple of initial phone call interviews and then they brought me in person in the office. This was many years ago so will likely be different by now.
