I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Newmont in Feb 2020
Interview
First, I had to record video responses to questions. The questions included "Why do you want to work at Newmont?", "What experiences will help you in this role?", typical introductory questions. Then, there was a phone interview with a manager within the division. It was a 30 minute interview where he explained what I would be doing in the role and asked about my research and working experience. I did not get to the next stage.
First I talked with HR, then with the hiring manager and the team I would be working with. Overall, a painless process. Due to COVID this whole process was remote.
