First, there was a phone call where they briefly asked about my background and how I heard about NewsBreak. It was very simple and quick, and they soon scheduled an interview. In the first round, the interviewer mainly asked about the projects on my resume. At the end, they gave me a coding question about reversing a linked list in groups of k. I managed to write a solution, but it wasn’t bug-free. In the end, I didn’t pass the interview. I think the main reason was that my project experience didn’t quite match what they were looking for. The interviewer also asked about my resume in a rather casual way, so I eventually received a rejection.
