I did a brief phone screen with the HR manager, followed by an in-person with 3-4 people, including HR and the direct hiring manager. The interviews were friendly, open and engaging. I honestly enjoyed the conversations, getting to know the team and learning more about the company. It all seemed very positive. I was told by the HR manager that they would like to bring me back in to meet with an executive team member. I wrote my thank you notes to everyone I'd met, even heard back positively from the hiring manager, and then...nothing. No follow up whatsoever. I certainly understand not getting hired, but simply never hearing back from anyone else at the company was bizarre and surprisingly unprofessional based on my experience to that point.
