A recruiter reached to me via LinkedIn – we set up a time to chat over the phone, and then had me speak to the design lead over a video chat, which went very well. The next step was an in-person at their NYC headquarters, where I met with four folks. I thought it went well – the design director asked me to do a short design exercise for the next phase, but the end of the interview was rushed by the head of product. The next day I received a generic form email informing me I was not selected, which seemed very strange and abrupt.
