The interview process was pretty smooth. Everything was done online. No extremely difficult questions. Had 3 basic to medium difficulty coding questions at the end of the technical round. The last round was with the HR with some behavioral questions.

Only remember one coding question. Can you swap the values of two integers without using a temp variable?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nexient (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2019
Interview
I did direct application through the company website.
I got an email from the company recruiter the next day and she wants to schedule a phone interview.
We scheduled the phone interview but unfortunately, she did not call me at the time scheduled. I contacted the recruiter and try to see the problem. She said "She is running late, will call in next 20 min" but I did not get the call again. I got the call the next day at an unscheduled time!
During phone screening, we discussed the job detail, salary range, company, and my experience. After the phone interview, I got a HakerRank assignment and 2 hours In-Person interview schedule at the Ann Arbor office.
I had a great time with interviewers at the In-Person interview. Both interviewers were very nice and professional. I really like them and the teams there. I believe they like me too because I got positive feedback from the company recruiter about the interview.
After 3 days, the recruiter called me and said that they want to make an offer at X salary. Also, she said she will try to get approval for +3k . She explained the benefit and some information about the company. But the REAL story begins the next day. I got an email from the recruiter and she said she could get approval 10k below what she said. This is the first time I had this type of experience with company recruiters! When I try to learn why this happened I got a response said: “We have discussed that we have rated you as …. and for we can offer…”.I can understand if the company has a range for a certain level. But WHY YOU ARE REACH OUT CANDIDATE IF YOU ARE NOT FINALIZED EVERYTHING FROM YOUR SIDE!! I am disappointed.
