I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Next Century (Falls Church, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I was referred through a third party job-matching service, Vettery, and was immediately blown away with an extremely friendly and helpful HR team.
We did a short phone screen to learn more about the company, then I was given a fairly simple coding test. Not to give away too much information, it was a Java console card game that I had a few days to work on.
After that was reviewed I had a 30 minute call with the engineer that reviewed my code and we talked about my background, academics, and basic technical questions.
Finally, we scheduled a face to face interview where I met with 2 engineers for an hour, then HR and some executive members of the company to talk about my fit in the company and we went over the compensation + benefits for an hour.
After that, an offer was extended to me with a very generous amount of time to think about my decision.
