Interview
I went to an information session at my university for NextERA and heard the company representatives speak about different aspects of the company. After that, I was scheduled for an interview the next day where I was asked a series of situational and technical questions. The part that I really enjoyed was, unlike most interviews at other companies, the interviewer talked with me as a regular person and tried to get to know me personally. After the interview, I found out that I advanced to the next interview phase, which included a drug test and a background check. Finally, after passing those tests, I received an internship offer from NextERA, which I am proud to say I accepted.
My advice is to treat the interview with the company like a typical interview but also try to get to know your interviewer. You never know - the person that may have interviewed you may be your boss for the summer and beyond.
