Interview
The Overall experience was great. I applied online and received an email about 3 weeks later to do a Hirevue Getting to know you interview. It was based on 7 questions (Nothing to difficult), 5 were Multiple choice and two video recordings. After I received a phone call with two recruiters and asked about 10 behavioral questions (this interview was smooth, they were very nice throughout the whole process, meaning they make me feel very comfortable). Next about 4 weeks later i got invited to an Open House at their Corporate headquarters, Its an all day thing so be prepared. They provide a tour of the facility and lots of neat stuff they are working on. There you get interviewed twice by 2 different persons each time throughout the day, questions were some behavioral and basic technical questions, they also ask about projects you have done so be prepared to talk a bit about those as well. After they got back to me with an offer 2 days later. I accepted. very fair salary and great company to work for with awesome weather throughout the year
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at NextEra Energy, Inc. (Pensacola, FL) in Nov 2025
Interview
Had a great experience throughout the interviewing process. Started off with an in-person interview with some local engineers and progressed to a set of online interviews. Would rather have had the opportunity for more in-person experiences, but everyone that I talked to was very pleasant.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NextEra Energy, Inc. (Miami, FL) in Apr 2022
Interview
I was applying for the basic starting position that NextEra offers through Florida Power & Light. I met their rep at my college's career fair and was asked to do in person interview with another rep the next day. Very casual and welcoming experience. I think this is how they weed out a basic few. It was a few weeks before I heard anything but I was eventually asked to interview during their big long day of interviews with two different sets of managing principles that was a bit more intense with very creative and thorough questions. A few weeks after that I was offered a position with a personal phone call from a very friendly HR rep. Overall decent experience from a company that's hiring 40+ new grads at a time. I ultimately did not go with this job but it was for other reasons.
