I applied for the Rate Analyst position online and was called back 3 weeks later for a screening call. The HR rep made it sound like she would be speaking to the hiring manager to recommend me for next steps and to please call her if I moved forward in the interview process with any other companies. I never heard anything back, even after calling the HR rep and leaving a message that I had a pending offer from another company. Really unprofessional to leave someone hanging like that after giving the impression that they were interested.
