I applied online. I interviewed at Niagara Bottling in Feb 2026
Interview
I had a highly disappointing experience interviewing for a data/analytics role here. After an initial conversation with the recruiter I moved to a round with the Hiring Manager. During the process, a "target start date" of within the next 2 weeks was emphasized, suggesting a high level of urgency. However, after that interview, the process became completely unprofessional:
Ghosting: Despite following up twice, I received zero communication for 2.5 weeks, only to be hit with a generic rejection well after the supposed 'start date' had passed.
Lack of Role Clarity: Mid-process, the job title in the candidate portal was changed from "Sales and Marketing" to "Revenue Growth Analytics" without any explanation or communication from the recruiter.
Poor Interview Quality: The interview was surprisingly surface-level. Rather than "Tell me about a time when..." or deep-dive behavioral/technical questions, the interviewer simply asked, "Do you know what [X] is?" It felt more like a vocabulary check than a professional evaluation for a Master’s-level candidate. It appears the team may have been collecting information or pivoting the role's scope while keeping candidates in the dark.
If you value transparency and respect for your time, I would be cautious about engaging with their talent acquisition team.
