Applied online, and a month later I receive a call for a quick "screening" interview. This was on a Monday. On Wednesday I get an email inviting me to interview on Friday. The interview is via Zoom for about 30 min, and it's very casual - I felt over-dressed with my suit! Overall it ends on a good note, and I feel hopeful. The following Wednesday, I get a phone-call, thinking it might be good news, but it was actually to let me know I didn’t make the cut. It threw me off emotionally but they did encourage me to keep applying for positions - as if to say I had what it took and it’s all a matter of getting the competitive edge.
