I applied online. I interviewed at Nielsen (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
I was called by a recruiter, and then had a phone interview followed by an onsite interview. Everything went smoothly and I was highly qualified for the role. The phone interview was with the hiring manager, and the onsite interview was with her manager. After being told I would hear from them in 2-3 weeks, I was completely ghosted. I followed up with all parties to see if they reached a decision and heard nothing back. When I logged into the job portal, the job was no longer listed. I find it to be completely unprofessional to not even respond and then delete the job posting entirely without even sending applicants a stock email.
I had two rounds of interviews; one with HR and one with a senior director. I was surprised that I received a rejection letter even though my interview went great at I was told that they would expedite my next round of interviews and prepped me on it!

General questions based on previous experience predominantly on processes used
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen
Interview
Interviewed with 6 different people over the course of a few weeks, and spent multiple hours completing a case study just to never receive an email back after I followed up after the final round interviews. Clearly they don't respect the time and effort that candidates put into the process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Nielsen (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2022
Interview
HR person set me up for an interview and then completely did not show. No follow up email, no explanation, just plain ghosted. Had an interview with their sister company NielsonIQ and the HR person was VERY dry and it seemed like they were doing a laundry list question format for the screener. They made it a very unpleasant experience, said they would follow up by X date, then GHOSTED.
