J’ai postulé via l’Apec, j’ai été recontacté par une RH le sur lendemain, proposition d’entretien une semaine après. J’ai été reçue par la RH et la manager, entretien très convivial et intéressant avec un réel échange.

First, the recruiter calls to ask your motivation and you must pass easy numerical and personality tests. Then, out of nowhere, the recruiter calls you again and asks difficult questions (since you are not prepared). Questions such as "describe me a situation when you took leadership", "describe me a situation when you improved the IT process in your former company" were asked. Therefore, you must improvise. Moreover, it was more difficult to answer since the recruiter's Dutch and English levels were mediocre. Finally, one week later, the same recruiter calls you to inform you that you are rejected due to your weak Dutch level (funny since I live in the Flemish Region and speak Dutch every day and followed compulsory Dutch courses and exams during my bachelor and master while her Dutch was more than weak plus the function did not require advanced level of Dutch) and that I was not enough analytical (I majored in Finance). However, the candidate she hired has a lesser analytical background. To my understanding, she rejected my application due to questionable motives (i.e. ethnicity) and wasted my time.
