Interview
Applied for the first position online and heard back in a week to have an exploratory call. Scheduled video interviews 2 weeks later. 3, 45 minute video interviews with different team members asking about myself, background and experience and few situational example questions. 10 days later received a rejection.
Applied for another position online and heard back very quickly to schedule a phone interview. After the phone interview I was told they were expediting the process and to come in for an in-person interview. There were 4 sets of 45 minute interviews with 2 employees at once. There were a range of questions from my experience to a case study to my favorite excel function. The process took all day as I had to travel to the office from out of state, interview and get home. The team seemed very positive and I felt very good about the interview. I had heard nothing until I emailed the recruiter 10 days later. I emailed her again 22 days after the interview and she said I would know in 2 weeks. After another month and 2 weeks of hearing nothing, I emailed her again when she responded they had given the position to another candidate.
Although I liked the team members I talked to a lot and thought the process went great, the recruiter's lack of communication and failure to contact me ruined the experience for me. Nothing about this 2 month process was expedited and I'm very disappointed on the outcome of this interview experience after all my time and effort.
A recruiter started with a quick phone chat to get to know ,e better. Asked about my background, experience, and why I'm interested in the role. Got a few behavioral questions to see if my values aligned with Nielsen’s culture.
An interview followed by an in person case study. The process was fairly straight forward but the case is not easy if you are not an analytical person to begin with.

It very easy. Basic question are asked. They ask what did I work as in previous company and how I can contribute to current role. Ask why I want to join the company.
