I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nielsen
Interview
Hiring process was pretty straightforward...one telephonic interview with the line manager to assess candidature fit and basic experience etc
Then an online aptitude test on basic logic and data interpretation skills - This is a very very basic level test asking basic aptitude questions on data interpretation...probability...2 small case case studies...some maths (Arithmetic) and English grammar questions...
Then a final HR round asking basic expectations
Overall the round is very transparent, the process is driven by the line or operational manager and if the first round goes well then depending on the urgency the entire process shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks

General questions on prior work experience...career goals...why Nielsen...expectations etc
I had two rounds of interviews; one with HR and one with a senior director. I was surprised that I received a rejection letter even though my interview went great at I was told that they would expedite my next round of interviews and prepped me on it!

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen
Interview
Interviewed with 6 different people over the course of a few weeks, and spent multiple hours completing a case study just to never receive an email back after I followed up after the final round interviews. Clearly they don't respect the time and effort that candidates put into the process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Nielsen (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2022
Interview
HR person set me up for an interview and then completely did not show. No follow up email, no explanation, just plain ghosted. Had an interview with their sister company NielsonIQ and the HR person was VERY dry and it seemed like they were doing a laundry list question format for the screener. They made it a very unpleasant experience, said they would follow up by X date, then GHOSTED.
