I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen (New York, NY) in Sep 2013
Interview
Standard process, started with a phone screen with basic questions, which then became a second phone interview with management, and then a final in person interview with upper-management. The process was not entirely clear from the beginning, but nonetheless was relatively standard. I do believe a large part of the multiple interviews is determining how someone would fit into the Nielsen culture. It is much more than learning about your skills.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nielsen (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2013
Interview
I met with a recruiter at a campus career fair and was invited to an event later that night. At that event, I was asked for an interview the next day. The interview was almost entirely behavioral questions. They asked me one thing about how I would go about creating a piece of software, but that's it.
