I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Nokia (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Sep 2022
Interview
Interviewers refuse to reveal salary range for the position. They are very condescending, avoiding very standard questions. They seem to be looking for very junior people and are not technically inclined, but try to ask a few technical questions. They are not able to discern between junior or senior developer since they themselves do not have the proper training. I kept being asked about university when I have more than 10 years experience as a developer!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is test driven development?
Why did you stop working for this long?
Why did you take an extra year to complete university? (I have 10 years experience as a developer and they kept asking me about university!)
Do you know what a product manager is?
And other condescending questions
Good, the first interview is basically on personal experience, no major coding, just minor and just conversation. Need to write on paper to explain answer. The interviewer listen to my story of my experience. Have good communication.
