I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online, 1-2 weeks later received an email asking for times available for phone interview; phone call for interview was right on time. Received an email 1-2 days after phone interview asking for times to schedule mock counseling session, which was scheduled as soon as I sent in my times available. Everything to this point was very organized and timely. Also, the two people I had contact with at this point were very friendly and helpful.
The mock interview started 10 mins late (in this step you're using the app, messaging back and forth with a fake client, which is someone is who was the opposite sex of my client and probably 20 years younger), it lasted 1.5 hrs, the client was not willing to make any changes, but wanted to lose weight. I thought it went well, but received a canned email two days later stating they wanted a stronger candidate. I emailed that day asking what I could work on, and when I should reapply. No reply back, unsure if I want to apply again for $16-$18/hr.
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
