I applied online. I interviewed at Noom (Arlington, VA)
Interview
I was contacted very quickly and asked to provide dates for a 3 hour phone interview. I was scheduled the following week. They asked me to download the app and a webinar service. The interview went well, and I was immediately transferred over to begin the mock coaching session with a client. But because they never informed me that I had to use the email I applied with, or other pertinent info, I was late in accessing the platform. I was 7 minutes late, in constant contact via email with them, explaining my problem, but they cancelled the interview. I was told they would reschedule, but instead sent a rejection out a few days later, with no explanation . I feel I was never given a chance. I had rescheduled my entire day to accommodate for the interview. I also feel considering their process, they leave absolutely no room for error, but do not provide the proper instruction to be prepared. It almost felt like some random High School group project gone awry.
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.
