I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Noom in Jan 2019
Interview
The process was a little tedious given the low salary. You start the by answering a few questions and then you are asked to post a 60-sec video of yourself. The next step is a 10-minute zoom interview with an individual who is extremely laid back ( hoodie and sweats). You then proceeded to do a 60-minute mock coaching session. This is where I lost respect for the company. The interviewer gives you a mock client who wants to lose 50lbs but is lazy and refuses to exercise. Essentially a worst-case scenario. In all my years of school, training, and coaching, I've never had a client that complicated. By this point what seemed like an okay process quickly turned into an annoying waste of time.
I'm guessing by the horrible tone the mock client had Noom is trying to test your patience. I say patience and not skill because it's less about your experience and qualification and more about maintaining your cool while a mock individual speaks down to you and is extremely difficult.

Question 1
Mock client: I want to lose 50 lbs I refuse to exercise or change any of my habits. I won't do an exercise plan and I will only eat takeout.
The interview process goes in multiple rounds. First, an online application, then a mock coaching interview where you coach a client, finally, a video interview with a member of the hiring team.
Several interviewers, standard questions. Be prepared to explain your work history as a health coach and why you are a good fit for the position. There is an eschelon of interviews around 3.

Question 1
Why are you interested in job? Previous health coach work?
POOR. Sucked. The interviewer seemed very young and ageist. It seems like this girl would have rather been looking at her phone and responding to texts than interviewing someone for a job position—worst experience ever!!
