After applying online I received an email asking to set up a time to have a video call with an internal recruiter. That went ok in my opinion, I didn't knock it out of the park but the next morning I received an email from a local HR employee asking me to set up a second call/video with a more technical focused employee. I put in my dates and waited for a response. Two days later I get a generic rejection email saying "After extensive deliberation, the team has decided to continue their search for an individual who is a closer match for our current needs". While I get that I may not have been the ideal candidate for this particular role, why have me schedule a second interview??? Baffling.
