I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Overall, there were 4 parts to the application and interview process. A few weeks after filling out the initial application, I heard back about the first step to the interview. In this portion, I was given 25 minutes to write about 4 scenarios. Then, at the end, I was able to upload a minute long video about why I would be a good fit. Less than a week later, I was offered an opportunity for a 10 minute "interview" followed by a mock coaching session. I placed interview in quotations because it was basically an opportunity for me to ask questions to the Coach that would play the mock client. After a few minutes chatting over Zoom, we role played in a Google document. I was the coach, she the client who wants to lose 50 pounds with various obstacles in the way. About an hour later, I was told to schedule the final interview, which would take 30 minutes. My final interview was scheduled for less than a week later where I chatted with another coach and we exchanged questions. She asked me about my experience and I asked her about her experience inside of the company. Less than an hour after the interview, I was offered a job with the company.
Overall, the interview process was quick and efficient. The interview itself was interesting and unlike any interview process I have been through. But, I actually had fun each step of the way.
