Interview
I submitted the application on the Noom website and received an email that I would be hearing from them in the next several months. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email the next day to schedule the next phase of the interview. That consisted of answering 4-5 mock coaching questions and recording a 1 minute video of why you'd be a good fit for Noom. Next, I scheduled a mock coaching interview where a Noom employee posed as a Noom user and we chatted back and forth in a Google Doc. Finally, I had a video interview reviewing my mock coaching and asking a few more questions. I received an email that day saying that they were no longer hiring, but got an offer less than 2 weeks later.

The hardest question was, "What would you tell a user whose family sabotages their weight loss attempts by bringing home desserts, cakes, candy, etc?"
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
