About 10 days ago I applied online with my resume and cover letter to Noom. I found their listing on Indeed.com which mentioned the company is hiring in about a dozen different states currently. So far, I believe I'm in Step 3 of the process (apply-->video and scenario based question submission --> mock coaching session). I have been reading the most recent reviews of the latter half of this year, and it seems this step may be the most frustrating out of all. I'm preparing by going through the scenario questions many have written in their reviews, and practicing quick responses to a potentially stubborn client. My philosophy will be to always guide the client to empowerment, and meet them where they are at, and build from there. Ask that difficult question of " If you had to decide between _____ and ______, which would you choose?", rather, "What do you think would be a tangible first step for you?". Anyway, this is what I'll be attempting if all options are exhausted. But I will be prepared to use an empathetic response and make sure I use validation to make them feel justified and understood.
