I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Noom (Jupiter, FL) in Mar 2020
Interview
I went through the whole process. Got to the mock coaching interview. Was set up to fail. No directions. Had a young guy pretending to be a 45 year old woman with two kids, that wants to loose 50 pounds. Doesn’t want to work out, log food, or eat healthy ( eats a muffin, latte, fried chicken, and take out). Gave me one worded answers then ended the chat out of nowhere without reading what I wrote. Got an email the next day saying they are looking else where. No one is paying money to act the way this guy pretending to be a woman aka” Sam” did. You basically might get lucky if you get someone on the other hand that is having a good day. Honestly I dodged a bullet. Complete joke. No wonder users think the coaches are robots because they are told/trained to be. Don’t waste your time!
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
