I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Noom (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
I had a screening call for the position, then met with the hiring manager for the role. Pretty quickly in the interview the hiring manager made it clear that they were looking for someone with a different skill set or background than me, but asked me a number of questions to feel out whether I'd be a good fit for the position or another one on the team (although the position I was interviewing for needed someone with a specific background). I got a rejection email shortly afterward and it was honestly the nicest rejection email I've ever received. I left the interview feeling positive about Noom and open to applying there. I did not feel like my time was being wasted, they were direct but also respectful.
