I applied online, and received an email after 1 day of my application to set a time and date for a quick phone interview. During the phone screening, I was asked basic questions like, "why do you want to work for Nordstrom", it took about 15 minutes and the person interviewing me was very nice and fun to talk to, before the interview came to a conclusion, I was told to come in for an in store interview (and was scheduled 3 weeks prior to my phone screening). The in person interview had a relaxed atmosphere, there are also pre-written interview questions, and I was interviewed by a manager and a department manager who were both easy to talk to, they were very enthusiastic while interviewing me, and were informative regarding the company and the role as a Nordstrom sales associate--overall, it was a fun interview and I was offered a position on the spot!
