I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
First is a phone interview. A lot of customer service questions, then you visit the location that you applied at for an in person interview. You meet with a bunch of other applicants, introduce yourself to a group of managers, and then go for a one on one. The one on one is similar to the phone interview, just a bunch of sales and customer service questions/situations. After that, you walk with a manager to a department and do a sales roleplay. They give you some time to look around and then you act like an employee. It's not so much the products but the way you service the customer. Overall pretty fun, but it really helps if you are accustomed to customer service face to face and even better if you know the various brands.
