First, I got a phone screening. I was invited to the store for an interview. There was a group of us, but after a brief orientation and introduction to al the department interviewers, you split off into where you were interviewing for. Following that was a standard interview. Next, I took a tour of the department and did selling role play.

Overall all very simple and easygoing. Just show up professionally and know about the company. The main areas of focus is your experience, how well you work with others, and how to navigate this position.

The interviewing process was lengthy, I went to three interviews and on the last one, I met with my store’s manager and her regional manager. It was a very lengthy process but respected. Nordstrom values the right things so not just anybody can get the job.
