I applied online for commission sales associate positions in a couple different departments. I recieved a call the next day from HR and was interviewed me over the phone immediately. She asked me basic questions about my previous work experience, desired hours, etc. She was impressed that I knew a lot about the company, as well as their dedication to customer service. She scheduled me for an in-person interview with her, which was only a couple days after the phone interview. I was asked to tell her a little about myself, more about my previous work experience, times I faced challenges with customers, and other typical retail interview questions. She suggested that I check out other departments besides what I applied for to see if there was something else that interested me more. After she showed me around the store she asked which department I would like to work in. After I told her, she set up an interview with that department's manager and I was able to interview with him the same day. He asked me about 10 more questions, which were a little more specific than the first round of questions, and explained how the pay worked. Then he had me go out to the sales floor and choose items I would try to sell to a customer and asked me questions about them. The interviews went really well, and I actually can say I had fun during them, which is something I can't say about many other interviews. I recieved a call from him only a day later and was hired full-time.
