I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Boise, ID) in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied online, and then received a phone call a week later. The interviewer was an hour late calling me. The phone interview was short with common questions: "Why did you apply to Nordstrom," "What is your schedule." I received a phone call the next day to go in for my group interview. I interviewed with 10 people, there were two HR girls giving the interviews.
The young ladies were nice, but they didn't seem too invested in the interview. They barely looked up as they were writing things down. It was not very engaging, and you are interviewing with your competitors in the room with loud music on - - so be prepared to try to be distracted and uncomfortable. Try to be unique and make an impression.
Quick and easy to do. I had no problem with any of the questions which were quite clear. I’m excited to start working very soon. I normally do not like phone interviews but this one was conducted by a real person opposed to an automated system.

Interview
Interviewed with the District HR Manager and then the Store Manager. Basic Interview questions about reasoning and managing several projects at once. The process was pretty standard and easy. They prefer to hire form within so may be difficult to snag an interview.

Question 1
How do you handle different projects with different due dates.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Worcester, MA) in Jun 2016
Interview
Took about 10 days. Quick and painless. First a phone interview, then an in-person interview, where an appointment was made to meet the manager at the parent location. The phone interview was easy and quick, and the in-person interview was not stressful at all. This location works hard to build a strong and reliable group of employees, and I'm sure that their decision will keep this priority in mind.
