I received two emails from a recruiter in the same day asking to chat with me in that same week about the role I applied for. I replied to both emails within a couple of hours to no response. On Friday of that week when the days I proposed had come and gone, I reached out again to confirm. No response. On Monday of the next week I reached out a final time to acknowledge receipt of the two emails from the week before, that I had responded, and if they were still interested. Recruiter finally responded, apologized for “letting the week get away from me”, and then told me the hiring manager chose to move forward with another candidate. I can appreciate that they didn’t subject me to an interview if they had other interests, but the recruiter and hiring manager were definitely out of sync and disorganized. It took prodding 2 times to get a response. I’ll rate the experience as neutral, but it didn’t leave a great first impression.

It was a smooth process. Everyone ewas very kind and attentive. I think that if you are the right fit for the job, then everything will be fine. Oterhwise, it will be difficult to prove the opposite. The interview included a techincal part. I like that everyone was positive about the company and the changces to come.

Mainly focus on the questions about you resume and questions about your project experience. Then ask if you have any suggestion of the market strategy of NordStrom. No tough question and the interviewer is very kind.
