I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Costa Mesa, CA) in Oct 2013
Interview
First they qualify you after applying online for a phone interview! They call you and ask questions like when did you deal with an unhappy client and what was the outcome! They email you and set up an in house interview this interview is usually conducted by a young just out of college student that is interning at Nordstrom for next to nothing!!as you can only go into management if you intern The intern just reads a series of questions of a paper like a robot!and writes down your answer so don't talk too much. Because they have to write it down lol I have also been on a group interview which is absolutely awful they bring 20 people in the room and the two 20 year old interns ask 1 question and you have to sit there and hear the same 20 answers for 10 questions. I was the one that received the offer but I declined as there is no room for growth unless you do the internship cheap labor commission only!!!! No room for growth...NO THANKS!
