I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Boston, MA) in Dec 2016
Interview
I applied at the new Boston location. Started with a phone screening - wasn't very conversational at all. Then an in-person interview with two senior stylists that lasted about an hour. It was clear during the interview that this is strictly a sales position for people who want to say they're in the fashion industry. The interviewers were definitely more concerned with numbers, if I had a "strong" sales-y personality, my network and my sales tactics over my fashion experience.
