I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Buford, GA) in Feb 2019
Interview
Complete and utter waste of time. I applied online and four days later I received an email stating that "we've opted to go with another candidate" (Standard rejection letter). Four hours later I am sent an email stating that I match the preferred qualifications and they'd love for me to set up an interview slot online. I set up an interview time for one week out (it was the next available time). I get a call about a half hour later than scheduled from the 855 NY number. She greets me and asks, "Is there anything that would prevent you from working 7-8 hour shifts?". I truthfully answer "no" and she says the store I've applied to will reach out if interested. The next day, I receive a call; I missed it due to being in a meeting. The voicemail left is enthusiastic, "can't wait to speak with you regarding your qualifications, etc. I call back 30 minutes later, and after technical difficulties on their end regarding their phone- I finally get a hold of the manager that called me. "We just wanted to let you know that we've chosen to go with another candidate." I cannot tell you how frustrated and annoyed I was at this. WASTE OF TIME.

Fairly easy interview. Basically talked about the position and the different options you have as far as departments you may be working in. Depending on who’s your manager, you’ll enjoy your time there. Hired on the spot.
