Interview
Applied online, then got a call from the visual merchandising manager. Had one phone call and then they invited me to the store for an in-person interview where I presented a mood board to a group of 4 of the district visual merchandising managers.
It was an easy experience. I went in early before the store was open. I had to pull together looks for three mannequins. The interview was one on one with the hiring manager.

Interview
very straight forward and simple. Want to make sure you understand visual merchandising and is comfortable with using basic tools. Be prepared to do a mock styling based on a trend given to you.
Standard merchandising question, what does merchandising mean to you, Who are your favorite retailers and what stands out to you the most about them? Then an outfit pull and that is it.
