I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Torrance, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
they hired me pretty quickly. First, they have you do a phone interview if you pass that then you get to meet the department manager and interview with her. she will write all your answers down on paper so that they can review them later. After that, you receive a call from them telling you if you got hired or not. the questions they ask are the common ones every job asks, just google them honestly. and every answer try to bring it back to being costumer obssess. they love that!

Question 1
to explain of one time I went above and beyond for a costumer
- Very easy and straightforward with a wonderful manager, only one interview and then was given offer shortly after which was great given that they wanted summer help. They were really only looking for full time, which I was ok with.
easy! attended the hiring event. You need to advocate and ask to interview for multiple departments in order to increase your chances of getting the job/dept you're looking for. interview process is repetitive but easy.
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
